The Fat Cats will provide complimentary best seat available to our veterans and active military personnel for all regular home games. Seniors and Mature Adults
The Ottawa Fat Cats want the next generation to learn about the sport of baseball. Therefore, the Fat Cats will provide a complimentary ticket to all seniors (60+) who bring one paid child to the ball park. Ottawa Food Bank
The Ottawa Fats Cats are proud to support the Ottawa Food Bank. In doing so, the Fats Cats have dedicated 200 upper bowl seats to the food bank for the purpose of having 200 persons paid-for-admission to the park with a food item rather than cash. These fans must commit to each game. Food Aid with Wyatt McWilliams
With the help of Wyatt McWilliams, the Ottawa Fat Cats will host the first annual “Peanut Butter & JAMboree” concert to help stock the food bank and also help area farmers in the process. The all-day FOOD-AID concert will generate good times in support of these worthy causes. Charities, Sports Teams and Non Profit Organizations
The Ottawa Fat Cats will operate a fundraising program that the baseball club can offer to all non-for-profit groups and registered charities. Groups will sell the $8 tickets to their members and supporters and retain $2. Field of Dreams
The Ottawa Fat Cats are proud to offer our Field of Dreams program to Little League players in Ottawa and area. The program offers the players the opportunity to stand with the Ottawa Fat Cats players on the field during the singing of the Canadian National Anthem. To become eligible for this program, teams can earn this opportunity by selling forty tickets to any Ottawa Fat Cats home game during the 2010 season. The tickets are discounted to $8 each. 100 Days for Community Use
The Ottawa Stadium Group is committed to hosting community groups, such as the Overbrook Community Association activities, the National Capital Baseball League and elite club teams. Approximately 70 dates are set aside for these community activities. Groups are asked to contact the Fat Cats for more information and booking opportunities. Little League Coaches
The Ottawa Fat Cats will offer area Little League coaches a chance to wear the Fat Cats uniform and be present on the bench for a Fat Cats home game. The opportunity will allow coaches to be mentored in real-life coaching situations in the dugout with Fat Cats coaches and players. Benefits to the Hospitality Industry
The Fat Cats are supporting our local hospitality industry. Local hoteliers will benefit from providing accommodations for our visiting team stays (approx. 400 room nights). The teams will also support our local restaurants and entertainment districts. |
